Using the Logotypes and Signatures
Many signatures for schools and colleges are available to download. Others are available by request.
Before requesting a unique logotype/unit signature combination, please keep in mind that it is always preferable to use the highest-level logo representation, starting with the word "Rutgers" alone, especially when communicating with external audiences. Sub-units are urged to use the logotype/signature of their largest umbrella unit (such as their school or college) and are asked to check with their dean's office or vice president's office before requesting a sub-unit signature.
For units whose name formally ends with the name of a regional campus (for example, University College–Camden), the campus will appear preceded by a vertical rule in the signature. In text, such units will continue to use a closed en dash preceding the campus identifier in their name, as illustrated in the previous sentence.
Don't Forget to Use the Full Name of the University
Keep in mind that the full name of the university–Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey–must appear somewhere on all Rutgers communications. Several ways to satisfy this requirement include:

For usage guidelines regarding the university name, see the Rutgers Editorial Style Guide.
