Rutgers Visual Identity System
Desktop Stationery
The Verdana desktop letterhead templates have been changed to Arial.

The stationery system, which includes the use of the logotype and signatures, must be used by all units of the university. Samples of letterhead, envelopes, and business cards are available below. Refer to the Visual Identity Manual [PDF–10MB] (chapter 5.0) for stationery guidelines.

Downloadable Desktop Letterhead

Downloadable desktop letterhead templates in the Arial and Formata BQ fonts are available with two university graphics:

Consider your office needs and your audience, and select the template with the appropriate graphic. In addition, each template is available as a Word .doc file and OpenDocument .odt file. If you're unsure which file type to download, select a Word template.

While the content should be customized to your needs, the letterhead font, layout, and positioning must not be modified in any way. The templates were created to match printed stationery and to adhere to the standards of the Rutgers Visual Identity System, as outlined in chapter 5.0 (Stationery System) of the Visual Identity Manual [PDF–10MB].

Printed Stationery
Mail and Document Services at 732-932-2143 is the preferred supplier of all printed stationery items. If a university office needs to work with an outside print vendor, Mail and Document Services can provide the appropriate templates and specifications.
