In addition to the logotypes and signatures, other website components such as web banners, web bars, webpage templates, and favicons can be
downloaded. Other web elements are available by
request.
- Web Banner System
- Universitywide – Banner for sites whose operations, functions, and services encompass the entire university or whose purpose is to provide general information relevant to the university (e.g., Rutgers History).
- Campus – Banner for websites whose operations and goals target a regional campus (Camden, Newark, or New Brunswick) rather than the entire university community.
- School/College – Banner for specific school and college websites.
- Unit Banner – Banner for research centers, institutes, departments, sub-units of larger departments, or offices websites.
- Web Bar – Thin bar applied to an existing website for a research center, institute, department, sub-unit of a larger department, or office.
- Website Templates – Universitywide and New Brunswick templates in both Cascading Style Sheets and Dreamweaver formats.
- Favicons – Custom graphic associated with a webpage or website that appears next to the http address in the URL window of a browser.
Don't Forget to Use the Full Name of the University on Your Website
Keep in mind that the full name of the university–Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey–must appear somewhere on each page. Two ways to satisfy this requirement include:
